1961 MG MGA

You are looking at a 1961 MGA 1600 that we just customized this year for one of our clients. This is an original California car that has lived most of its life here in San Luis Obispo. It was a one-owner car until about a year ago, when we sold it to one of our clients. The car had a full ground-up restoration done by its original owner and was updated with an 1800cc engine and Weber carburetor. This was a very nice car to start with, but our client just wanted something a little different. The cosmetic restoration we did cost $20,000 and was just recently completed. The paint and body was stripped to bare metal and completely redone to a very high standard. The panels and doors all fit very well. This is a rust- and accident-free car. The upholstery was also just redone in very nice leather. As you can see from the photos, there are many modifications to the car that give it this racer look. It does come with the stock windshield that can easily be replaced if one desires. The car also comes with a new convertible top and a powder-coated top frame.
