We are pleased to offer this 1966 Triumph TR4A solid-axle car for sale. Most TR4As were equipped with independent rear suspension, which in my opinion is not as desirable as the solid axle. The solid-axle cars just have a better feel and are not as clunky. This particular TR4A has had a full ground-up restoration to what we like to call fast road spec. What this means is that it has had many tasteful upgrades from stock but is not a full race car. It was built with the idea in mind of using on tours and road rallies. Every part of this car has been rebuilt to like new or better. Our client spent many years doing most of the work himself but did have the drivetrain rebuilt Auto Sport of Seattle, WA. The car is very clean and very nice but has been built with the idea in mind of getting out and using it. For this reason, it is not a perfect concours car but is very nice show-quality car that drives excellent. The engine is very smooth and powerful and is just right for road use. The brakes have been updated to power assist and have Wilwood calipers on the front. We have a full list of work that has been done to this car that we are happy to email to anyone with interest. Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
