1966 Cadillac Cadillac Custom Coupe

You are looking at a very nice 1966 Cadillac custom. This is a car that I have known for many years. It is an original San Luis Obispo California car and is about as solid and straight of a Cadillac you will find. This is not the usual junker Cadillac that you will find that need loads of repairs. This car has had a lot of time and money spent getting it to how you see it. The paint job is about 3 years old and looks great. The color you see is the original to the car. The car is nice and straight and perfect for a show/driver. The engine and transmission have been professionally rebuilt and have about 15,000 miles on them. The engine has been updated with an Edelbrock carb. The engine runs very strong and does not burn any oil. The transmission is very smooth and quiet. The suspension is custom built and is the nicest air ride system I have seen or used. It is equipped with an Accu-air system that allows the car to ride level at all times no matter how much weight is in the vehicle. Instead of having gauges and trying to guess at your height this system does it by using height sensors. As far as I am concerned this is the only way to build a system. The install is all done to the highest quality and very few mods were made to complete it. The car still turns lock to lock with out scraping the tires. It has never been driven down and is very clean underneath.The car still rides nice and smooth and is just like a Cadillac should be. The interior is all original and in very good condition. There is a crack in the dash pad. The car is equipped with a full custom sound system that sounds excellent. It has an Alpine head unit with ipod hook up, two 6 1/2 alpine components built into custom kick panels, two 6X9\'s under the package trey, two twelves built into the trunk and an arc audio 5 channel amp powering the system. The door handles and side emblems have been shaved. all windows do work but the heating and a/c do not. The heater valve does work when controlled from inside the vehicle as well as the vent flap. The a/c compressor does also work when jumped. The car is fitted with the factory climate control system that I couldn\'t quite figure out. I am sure that a Cadillac expert would know just what to do. All power windows do work. This car gets load of attention and is a pleasure to drive. This is a car out of my personal collection that I do hate to sell but that is life.
